RON BOUGIE'S  HOTROD SHOP LTD.

Ron's  Hot Rod shop is located in the Upper Fraser Valley in B.C. Canada and Ron does one thing only and that is making frames and suspension and from what we saw he does it very well.   Ron is a transplant from Alberta.... their loss,  our gain.  A mutual friend introduced us to Ron and took us for a tour of his shop and we were most impressed with the shop, the equipment, and Ron's obvious talents.  

When I arrive to do the photo shoot, Ron and Jim Burt were preparing to do a test fit of a body on a frame Ron was close to finishing.  I had the opportunity to have a close look at the frame before it was placed under the waiting body and the quality of workmanship was very high caliber.  Ron has a HUGH jig he uses to set up his frames to ensure they are absolutely true and square.  Ron's welding and finish were top notch and anyone utilizing one of Ron's Frames would have no worries about quality or strength.... he builds them to take torque... a lot of torque. 

When the recipient body was lowered over the frame and checked, the fit was about as close to perfect as we seen on a first go.  A few minor changes to the drive shaft tunnel in the body and walla.  So if your looking for a rolling frame for your next project, you may want to consider taking advantage of Ron's talent and considerable experience in the field of frame and suspension design.

Ron's  shop rate currently is $ 55.00 an hour plus materials.... .
